Good morning! Yesterday I replanted my basil in this tin can I got at the dollar tree and it looks so happy! My green onions are thriving in the sunroom. You can see that its growing even taller from the water and sunlight its getting. Same with my cilantro and dill. When I get down to the last bit of them I'm going to pot them as well. I'm trying to have a green thumb. I do have to admit my aloe and orchid are doing pretty good as well. I water those weekly or until they're dry. The basil has some rocks in the bottom to help with drainage and I water that daily. I keep a little bit of water in the jars for the cilantro, dill and onions. I never refrigerate my herbs anymore. They never last very long cause they're live and the refrigerator just keeps them fresh till they wilt and die. The best way to keep your herbs lasting longer is to put them in a jar that keeps them upright with a little bit of water and in a sunny place like a windowsill or a sunroom. Next I have a couple of planters for flowers. Can we also take the time to acknowledge how cute my gardening gloves are. I love them! The lemons are adorable! I found the perfect spot for my herbs in the sunroom that wasn't being used. My replanted basil is happy and thriving! Here's a tip too that when you pick basil pick a leaf per each section. Never pick it all from the same spot. That way it helps it to keep producing and isn't fighting so hard to reproduce the leaves again. Just a side tip!
